Strip Club ~ A New Move! with Patti Euler

I have added a new twist to Strip Club! We will be incorporating a wooden cutout which will create another layer to the final piece.

Ok…..I know what you’re thinking! There is no pole dancing involved in this workshop, but there is sparkle and glitter! This is the next evolution of our most popular workshop, Paper Mosaics. In “Strip Club we will still create our sheet of paper from torn pieces of scrap paper, add in some gold, silver, or copper leafing, glitter and stamping. However, this time instead of squares, we cut it into strips and lay it out totally different. We will also use, text, vintage papers, strips of  handmade papers, some Gelli prints and some scrapbook papers to add into the mix. I will show you how to cut your papers to get a good fit and we will discuss the options of different adhesives and different ways to finish your project.

I encourage you to go through your stash of background papers and bring them with you to use in this project. You will leave with a finished 10 x 10 cradled panel ready for hanging. I know you will want to make more than one.

This workshop and the title were inspired by my good friend and amazing artist Kae Pea. She gave me a new way to spin our Paper Mosaics workshop…..a class that we have been doing for 18 years.  Thank you Kae Pea for always being so generous  in encouraging and sharing your talent with others.
