Sunken Moon Studios returns! This time, we’ll be teaching you to carve some seasonally-themed linocut stamps, drawn by facilitator Shelley!

CRYPTIDS & CARVING
Feeling creepy and need a healthy outlet? Want to learn to hand-carve and stamp unique cryptid designs and learn about their lore? Our upcoming class will teach you how to hand carve, stamp on materials you bring, including paper products and clothing, and take home a one-of-a-kind block print that YOU made (and can brag about later). This workshop offers the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and find your inner artist

.Workshop highlights:

• HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE: Learn how to hand carve and stamp block prints from an expert instructor

• CREATIVE EXPRESSION: Pick the design you want, trace, transfer, and carve your own block print to take home

• PROVIDED MATERIALS: All materials will be provided for you to carve a rubber block and print your design; you just need to bring your creative self!

Details:
• Participants must be ages 21+ (and need to sign a safety waiver)
• $75/person• Premade cryptid designs, hand drawn by Sunken Moon Studios, will be ready for you to trace, transfer, and carve onto your 4×6” rubber block

• Cryptids included: Mothman, Bigfoot, Lochness Monster, Loveland Frogman, Chupacabra, Fresno Nightcrawler, Flatwoods Monster, Squonk

• We’ll be using black ink for printing the cryptid designs (with a little red for Mothman’s eyes)

• Bring plastic trash bags to cover your items to take home with you

• The ink is permanent and will stain anything it gets on, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in the process
