In honor of Juneteenth, you are invited into an intimate, in-person gathering centered on remembrance, connection, and ancestral herbal wisdom. Remembering the Roots is a 90-minute, hands-on workshop where we will slow down and sit with herbs traditionally used for ancestral remembrance. Through touch, scent, and presence, we will engage these plant allies as carriers of memory, prayer, and continuity. This gathering is open to people of all backgrounds and is intentionally centered in Black ancestral traditions, with care given to cultural context, lineage, and respect. What to Expect • Guided exploration of herbs associated with ancestral remembrance • Hands-on engagement through touch, scent, and presence • Creation of a personal ancestral remembrance pouch • Space for reflection, grounding, and quiet connection Gathering Experience We will gather in a small circle of no more than six participants, allowing for depth, presence, and meaningful engagement.
