Amy Frondoso received her Maryland reflexology certification from Baltimore School of Reflexology. Her Reiki training is with world renowned Pamela Miles. Sound therapy certification is through Songaia Sound Productions with Ani Williams. Nutrition Consultant Certified with AFPA.
Amy began practicing Reiki in 2007 and her enthusiasm for Reiki practice was immeasurable. Having the ability to help herself feel better on every level — body, mind, and spirit — literally in the palms of her hands was so inspiring. It helped her feel she could meet whatever challenges life brought her way.Amy’s aspiration is to facilitate people to realize they can feel better and be happier. When we feel better, we function better, and we make better choices.
Reflexology was introduced to Amy when she was volunteering at the hospital, by a doctor that was receiving a Reiki treatment from her. With her interest of anatomy and physiology, it was the perfect modality that did not involve being invasive or the “sight of blood”. She researched the benefits of reflexology and immediately knew it was the right path for her. The self-practice of reflexology validated how effective it could be on her overall health.
While studying anatomy and physiology, Amy began to understand the importance of nutrition and realizing the benefits of the healing effects of what we consume. Every time we eat or drink, we are either fighting disease or feeding it.
Sound therapy was a modality that created a significant response in Amy’s healing that was so profound, she felt the need to explore and implement it for healing.
Amy volunteers at Annapolis Senior Center and Pasadena Senior Center providing Reiki to staff and members. Her volunteer work with Reiki on doctors and nurses at Howard County General Hospital, provides awareness of the benefits that Reiki can offer. During the 15 minute sessions, 99% of them “begin to snore”. That always puts a smile on her face. The most endowing of her volunteering is with The JCC in Manhattan for the Breast Cancer Spa Day. To have the honor in sharing her Reiki experience with such resilient human beings is a true blessing and the primary purpose of her passion.
