Savage Mill Bluegrass Festival

Savage Mill 8600 Foundry St, Savage, MD

Come to our Bluegrass Music Festival right here in our historic neck of the woods! From 12pm-4pm listen to some awesome jams by Maryland’s top bluegrass bands! There will be food, brews, and local vendors! Bring your own chairs, umbrellas, and blankets and relax right on our lawn and tarmac in our Little Lot. Parking will be in our Big Lot. Brews will be provided by Dive Bar and Grille! We’ve also got food from Flash Crabcake Company, Blowfish Poke, Kona Ice, and more! Rhythm and Brews

Come to our blues, jazz, funk and roots festival right here in our historic neck of the woods! From 12pm-4pm listen to some awesome jams by local bands! There will be food, brews, and more! Bring your own chairs and blankets and relax right on our lawn and tarmac. Visit our vendors and throw an axe for free! Food will be available for purchase from Bullhead Pit Beef, beer from Crooked Crab Brewing Company, and wine and cocktails from Dive Bar and Grille. Music in the Commons: Arbach Classical

Savage Mill 8600 Foundry St, Savage, MD

Matt Arbach has been playing guitar for 40 years, performing rock, jazz, classical and sacred styles.  He has a degree in music from Ithaca College and is an active teacher in the area. Savage Mill’s New Weave Commons is an updated, reimagined space in the middle of the Mill’s beautifully restored New Weave building. Surrounded by a variety of small retail shops and other local businesses, this intimate space encourages passersby to linger and socialize or enjoy the atmosphere around them. Local musicians and other performers are invited to apply to perform in the space on Saturday afternoons.

Centennial Lane Elementary School Lunchtime Concert

Savage Mill 8600 Foundry St, Savage, MD

This special lunchtime concert will feature the Centennial Lane Elementary Advanced Orchestra, 5th Grade Chorus, Concert Band and Jazz Ensembles. The concert will showcase nearly 100 musicians performing music in a wide variety of styles including classical, jazz, rock and swing. Weather permitting, the concert will be outside in front of Cherie Sustainable Bridal next to Shipping and Receiving and the Little Lot.

Improv in the Commons

Improv performances featuring small groups of students from Hammond, Howard, and Wilde Lake high schools. Savage Mill’s New Weave Commons is an updated, reimagined space in the middle of the Mill’s beautifully restored New Weave building. Surrounded by a variety of small retail shops and other local businesses, this intimate space encourages passersby to linger and socialize or enjoy the atmosphere around them.
