Words carry tremendous power. When you start speaking positive words to yourself, your life can be transformed into a new and infinitely better pattern. In this workshop you will combine your creativity along with relevant words into a significant work of art that resonates with you.
Utilizing polymer clay, metal embellishments and your selection of a valuable word, the exterior of the tin awaits your artistic touch and personal message. On the inside an accordion folded card stock book is included for your favorite affirmations, positive declarations and trinkets that best compliment your chosen artistic theme. You will make two Altered Message Tins measuring 3/4 x 2 ¼ x 7/8 inches.
Keep these treasured tins for yourself as a visual affirmation or gift it to someone you cherish as much as the message it conveys. *Register before June 20th and Dee will create a CUSTOM STAMPED WORD up to 7 letters (See sample photo) for your MESSAGE TIN.
Student Supply List–Please bring:
– A variety of paintbrushes (detail and flat)
– Xacto Knife with fresh blade, Detail Scissors and Scalpel (optional)
– Self Healing Cutting Mat
– Antique Gold Rubn’Buff
– White and/or Black stamping ink pads
– WeldBond Glue
– Glue Stick
Optional-bring your background and detail rubber stamps, Gel pens and/or colored pencils, assortment of ephemera and relevant metal embellishments, personal writings, Stickles, paper towels, etc.
We will provide:
– TWO 3/4 x 2 ¼ x 7/8″ tins
– 3 blocks of Black PREMO polymer clay
– A variety of embellishment packets to select from
– Accordion fold black paper insert
