There are different ways to create depth and dimension in your artwork, and in this class, you will create a 9″x12″ painting that is made up of four layers and learn about using color, tone, pattern, and imagery to build the base, background, midground, and foreground. We will be using fine tip applicators to apply three of the layers and Anna will show you different techniques that can be used in your other artwork. There will be a variety of images and patterns to work from, but you are also welcome to bring anything along that inspires you and Anna will help you translate those to your piece.
All materials and tools are provided for this class.

Paint brush with soft bristles. (1″ is a nice size)
