Lisa Mitchell is new to HorseSpirit Arts Gallery, but not new to oil painting. Bring the family to HorseSpirit Arts Gallery and meet local artist Lisa Mitchell during her Free Family-Friendly Saturday Studio Oil Painting Demo on Jun 25th from 1-4 pm.
Lisa is a landscape painter working in oil and soft pastel. After creating hundreds of portrait commissions, she changed her focus when she fell in love with painting outdoors on location. Her formal graphic art and illustration education is from MICA in Baltimore, and she continues to study with many nationally recognized artists.
Lisa has offered oil, pastel, and plein air painting instruction for many years and she is now offering her first HorseSpirit Arts workshop. “Choose Your Own Path”, a 2-day Weekender Landscape Oil Painting Workshop, will be held on Sept. 24 & 25, 2022, check it out.
