Never Dull Squares

Spend the day creating this beautiful grid of textured squares in YOUR choice of decorator colors. You will be combining a selection of magazine images and assorted textured papers that will be cut, pasted, and altered in a five step process. This workshop will offer the mixed media artist a new collage style. The star of the show is Nevr-Dull.  The Nevr-Dull process is a resist technique that lets you alter magazine colors and images. Perfect for people who can’t draw! The collage tiles you will create will be attached to a 12×12 birch cradle board provided with the class. The photos in our class description don’t capture the level of detail and texture in the artwork. We have samples on display in the shop.

A Note from the Queen:

This workshop was designed and developed by my good friend and artist Gail Russokov.  I have known Gail for many years and I adore her, absolutely love her work and admire her skills as an artist and teacher.  Many of you were lucky enough to take this workshop from Gail when she was here last fall.  I lured her out of retirement for one last weekend of classes. Since then, she has given me her blessing and permission to teach her workshops.  I only hope I can do her proud.  Gail’s Technique is so adaptable you can apply it to any mixed media style.…Art Journaling, Collage, card making, etc., All skill levels are welcome from the novice to the experienced artist. I hope you will join me for this unique workshop.
