This workshop will help identify common pain conditions in these areas of the body and suggest ways that yoga can help. It will also highlight how common injuries can be handled in the classroom and during your yoga practice. Whether you’re an instructor or practitioner, you can gain insight and knowledge that will strengthen awareness of your body and guide your practice in a safe and meaningful way.
Anatomy and kinesiology will be highlighted as participants explore the nuances of traditional yoga asana through lecture, observation, and asana practice. Emphasis will be placed on refining your practice, injury prevention for healthy practitioners and for those with diagnosed health conditions. Free resource materials provided.
