About This Savage Mill Business
The Blind Pig Tavern is a modern-day Speakeasy. The cozy, dimly-lit atmosphere offers Lounge, Dining, Pub, and Bar seating. The original brick walls and wood panels give an authentic era vibe in the lower level of the Historic Savage Mill. The Blind Pig menu heavily features sharable flatbreads and small plates along with a range of decedent pasta dishes and oversized sandwiches. The bar offerings are heavily focused on craft cocktails, local craft beers, and an expansive selection of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch.

Happy Fall Equinox! The damp weather today makes our Modirondack chairs less inviting than usual, but we found this view with the perennial grasses moodily striking.
Inside the Mill, tenants are preparing for the change of seasons. Jeanine with @ancestorsbosom recommends her herbal extract "Joy" as a beautiful ally for the transition into the darker months. 🧵 The Threads of Heritage Community Quilt is ready for its next chapter!
During Black History Month, our community came together with Leona`s Sewing Studio to design a quilt using African print fabrics. Now, in celebration of @nationalsewingmonth it’s time to bring that design to life.
Join Leona`s Sewing Studio at Savage Mill on September 27 for a hands on session where you’ll help sew the individual squares together and complete the community quilt.

A little Mill maintenance!
Savage Mill will be closed Monday, August 31 while we take care of an important repair to our main water system. We’ll be back open and ready to go on Tuesday, September 1st during regular hours.
