The Savage Fencing Club will be hosting this exciting, high level foil fencing tournament.
The Choco Therapy has been running for 23 years, with the first tournament taking place at the now-defunct Baltimore Fencing Center in Columbia. It draws foil and epee fencers from as far away as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Georgia, among other states. Fencing will begin around 10:30 a.m. and continue into the late afternoon. Finalists will receive engraved medals, and the top male and female finishers will each receive a box of fine chocolate truffles from Sweet Cascades Chocolatier, located in the Mill.
Stop by to watch some of the best fencers in the Middle Atlantic region compete in this original Olympic sport! There is no charge for spectators.
