Tessera is a diverse and dedicated team, committed to building a workforce that delivers exceptional results. For decades, we have forged strong partnerships with government agencies, and the best in manufacturing, healthcare, and higher education—all ensuring their operations run seamlessly, efficiently, and better than before.
Since our founding in 1988 (as Skookum), our belief in empowering people with disabilities has driven us to create meaningful opportunities while delivering outstanding value to our customers. By putting people first, Tessera shapes a brighter future for our workforce, the communities in which we live and work, and the customers we proudly serve.
At Tessera, excellence is ingrained in everything we do. We are not defined by limitation, but by the resilience, talent, and determination of our workforce. Our social purpose is measured not just by impact but by our unwavering commitment to professionalism and hard work.
Today, we set the standard in Facility Management, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Vehicle Maintenance. With more than 1,700 skilled employees across 14 states, we serve federal, state, and local governments, all branches of the U.S. military, higher education, and leading corporations. Our national presence includes headquarters in Washington state and an East Coast satellite office located in Savage, Maryland.
While our name has changed, our commitment remains steadfast. Tessera represents a new chapter—one where our dedication to our purpose and people remains stronger than ever.
