About This Savage Mill Business
Alumia Design Studio offers a diverse range of handmade, unique jewelry pieces, each meticulously crafted and accompanied by a meaning card that details the symbolism behind the design.
We specialize in making custom jewelry, allowing customers to add a personal touch with carved names or unique designs. Our services extend to gold plating, repair services, ring engravings, and more.
Additionally, Alumia hosts various workshops and lessons suited for individuals and groups, including Saw Your Own Pendant, Copper Wire Tree on Crystal, Learn Plier work - Beads and Findings Fiesta, and a whole catalog for learning different techniques in the metalwork world of jewelry making.

A little Mill maintenance!
Savage Mill will be closed Monday, August 31 while we take care of an important repair to our main water system. We’ll be back open and ready to go on Tuesday, September 1st during regular hours.

We`re excited to announce our new Howard County Arts Council ARTsites sculpture, "Searching" by local artist and recent University of Maryland graduate Nick Femia! Nick uses natural materials like metal and wood, bringing life to the beauty of geometric forms.

Our Courtyard has been looking particularly pretty recently, the old brick walls accented by a blooming crepe myrtle and cheerful black-eyed Susans. "Plein Fun", a newly-formed group of painters, visited this week. Impressive work, right?

Girls Night Out is back at Savage Mill, and this summer we`re heading to summer camp!
Join us on Thursday, August 13, from 4 pm to 8 pm for an evening of shopping, sipping, and a little friendly competition. Pick up your complimentary $5 Girls Night Out Buck, grab a bingo card, and explore the Mill as you visit participating businesses. Along the way, enjoy wine and mocktails and keep an eye out for a special camp inspired game that we`ll be revealing soon.
Bring your friends, wear your favorite camp inspired look, trade friendship bracelets, and spend the evening discovering unique shops, local artists, and great finds throughout the Mill.
